Contrary to most training programmes, the aim at FDTI is not another degree for the trainee. FDTI believes that whilst universities and online resources provide strong theoretical foundations, practical knowledge is a key requirement to secure a job.
That is why FDTI focuses on developing practical knowledge by placing trainees in a setting that is similar to a real life Quants environment and providing them with opportunities to gain both technical and soft skills.
At the end of Level 2, our trainees return to their universities to complete their first semester of Master 2, after which they interview for an ‘On the Job Training’ (OJT) at a financial institution partner of FDTI. The OJT gives trainees a direct introduction to the profession of Quant. At the end of the OJT, the successful candidates will receive a job offer from our partner.
